Quick help
Share an Apple Music or Spotify link from the music app and choose Auxed, or use the paste-link action in the Auxed inbox. Choose an accepted friend or a group you have joined, optionally add a note, and send. If Auxed is missing from the iPhone share sheet, scroll to More and add it to your favourites. Open Auxed and sign in first so your friends and groups are available.
Auxed supports Apple Music and Spotify songs and albums. Newer builds also accept playlists and artists; update Auxed if one of those links is rejected. Playlists open in their original service. Track and artist matches in the other service are best effort, and albums are not matched across services. Your original link always remains available.
No. When Auxed finds a supported match, the recommendation offers both Apple Music and Spotify. Choose your preferred service in Settings to put it first. If no match is available, use the original link. Listening happens in the music service and depends on its availability and access requirements.
Friend invitations work once and expire after seven days. They can also be revoked by the person who created them. Ask your friend to create a new invitation, then open the newest link while signed in to Auxed.
Install Auxed and sign in first, then return to the original group link and tap Open in Auxed again. Auxed deliberately does not save group links while you are signed out. A group owner can also rotate or disable a link.
Open People to review and accept or decline a group invitation. You do not see the members or receive group recommendations until you accept. A reusable group link instead asks you to confirm joining. Groups have room for up to 20 people including the owner, with pending invitations reserving places. Joining a group does not automatically make its members your friends.
No. Auxed does not send read or listening receipts. You can choose to react with an emoji, a text reply, or both. Reactions are visible to the recommendation's participants; only the original sender receives reaction notifications.
Auxed Plus is a lifetime purchase for sending to multiple destinations at once, creating more than one group, and customizing groups you own. On iPhone it also unlocks music-sharing Siri and Shortcuts actions. Receiving, opening, reacting, sending to one destination, and joining groups stay free. Open Settings → Auxed Plus for the current offer and Restore purchase.
Your recommendation is safely queued on the device but has not reached Auxed yet. Open the main app while online and it will retry. Tap Review saved in the inbox to open Waiting to send. You can remove a queued item while no delivery attempt is running. If a friend or group is no longer available, Auxed may discard the pending send.
Auxed always preserves the original Apple Music or Spotify link. Titles, artwork, and cross-service matches are best effort and can arrive later or remain unavailable without affecting the recommendation itself.
Tap your profile in the inbox, open Settings, and turn on Notifications. Check any registration status shown there, and allow notifications for Auxed in your device settings. Delivery needs a network connection; Focus, notification summaries, and preview settings can affect when and how alerts appear.
Open Auxed once so the main app can refresh its private widget snapshot. It keeps showing the last received recommendation until a newer one replaces it, and clears when the inbox is empty, you sign out, switch accounts, or delete your account.
Tap your profile in the inbox and open People. Open the friend's menu and choose Remove Friend or Block Person. Blocking ends the friendship and hides recommendations and reactions between you. Group membership can also change: blocking someone in a group you own removes them, and blocking a group owner makes you leave that group. You can unblock someone under Settings → Blocked people; this does not restore the friendship.
Tap your profile in the inbox, open Settings, then choose Delete account. Auxed asks you to confirm with a linked sign-in method before starting permanent deletion. This removes your sign-in, profile, relationships, owned groups, group memberships, invitations, notification devices, and private account data. Music already received by someone else may remain, credited to “Deleted user,” with your personal note and reactions removed.
